Scoring & Contest Rules
Scoring
Scoring is based on the accuracy of your predictions.
Points
• Projection Win: 1 point
• DNP (Did Not Play): 0.5 points
• Push (Tied Projection): 0.5 points
• Loss (Incorrect Pick): 0 points
Your lineup’s total score is the sum of all pick scores.
Contest Visibility
Group rankings and scores are hidden during the week and are revealed once the weekly contest ends.
• Weekly contests conclude Sunday at 11:59 PM ET
• Group rankings become visible after final settlement
Winning lineups may be paid earlier, but rankings are shown only after all games in the contest window have concluded.
How Lineups Win
In Arena, lineups are resolved based on predefined win conditions, not live ranking.
Perfect Lineup
If all picks in your lineup are correct, your lineup is considered a Perfect Lineup.
• Perfect lineups are paid immediately once the final pick settles
• This payout is guaranteed and does not depend on other users’ results
Multiple perfect lineups may occur in the same group
Fallback Resolution (If No Perfect Lineup Exists)
If no lineup in the group achieves a perfect result, Arena Versus applies predefined fallback rules to determine winning lineups.
Fallback payouts are:
• Applied only when no perfect lineup exists
• Based on lineup size (2-pick, 3-pick, etc.)
• Calculated using fixed payout multipliers disclosed before entry
If fallback conditions are not met, lineups are graded as losses.
Payout Multipliers
Payouts are calculated as a multiplier of your entry fee:
• 2 Picks → 3x (perfect only)
• 3 Picks → 5x (perfect), 1.5x (fallback)
• 4 Picks → 10x (perfect), 2x (fallback)
• 5 Picks → 20x (perfect), 3x (fallback)
Fallback payouts apply only if no perfect lineup exists in the group.
Payout Timing
The timing of contest payouts depends on whether a lineup meets a win condition or requires group-level settlement.
• Perfect lineup payouts typically process immediately after grading
• Fallback payouts are processed after the weekly contest ends and group results are finalized
All payouts are subject to official stat confirmation.
Win Labels
Lineups that receive a payout will be marked as Win.
• A Win may result from a perfect lineup, or
• A Win may result from fallback rules when no perfect lineup exists in the group
If a lineup is paid via fallback rules, the win label may appear even if not all picks were correct.
