How to Play
Here’s how it works once you’ve created your account and you’re ready to play.
• Choose Your Player Projections: Choose between 2 and 5 player projections from today’s board from any sport.
• Pick More or Less: Decide if each player will go More or Less on that stat projection.
• Submit Your Lineup: Check your entry fee, potential payouts, and hit submit to lock it in.
• Get Placed in a Group: Your Lineup is automatically placed into a group with other users to compete against. Your entry will be submitted into a pool of contests, where you'll compete against other Arena Versus users to compete for the highest score and cash prizes. You can keep track of your pool's leaderboard by selecting 'View Leaderboard' on your contest entry slip in the My Picks section of the Arena app.
You’ll be placed in a group with other members based on the number of picks in your Lineup, the time of submission, and your skill level.
Scoring
Scoring is based on the accuracy of your predictions. Here’s how scoring works:
• Projection Win = 1.0 Points
• DNP (Did not play) = 0.5 Points
• Push (tied projection) = 0.5 Points
• Rescue (left early - see rules) = 0 Points
• Lose (pick is incorrect) = 0 Points
Ways to Win
In Arena Versus, there are two ways to win: win your Lineup outright or outscore everyone in your pool. You will receive whichever payout is higher (not both).
• Perfect Lineup: If you get all of your lineup predictions correct, you’ll automatically win your contest's entry fee multiplied by your winning payout multiple. This payout is guaranteed, regardless of other users’ performances in your pool.
• Highest Score: Achieve the highest score in your pool and win the contest prize. The prize will be determined based on your lineup entry fee and your score.
In the event of ties for first place, the contest prize will be divided evenly among the winners.
Winnings will not stack. For example, if a user has both a perfect lineup and has a highest score in their pool, they will receive the highest of the two payouts. In the instance the user has a perfect lineup, the standard payout for a perfect lineup will be awarded (as its higher).
Payouts
Scoring is based on the accuracy of your picks. Here’s how scoring works:
• 2 Picks = 3x payout
• 3 Picks = 5x payout
• 4 Picks = 10x payout
• 5 Picks = 20x payout
Payouts Timing
Perfect lineup payouts typically process immediately. 1st place payouts need more time as the entire pool and lineups therein need to be completed and scored to determine the group winners.
